Leaving Niagara, we opted to take the RV and toad across the Peace Bridge. Traffic was light at 10:30am, and the border crossing was very quick, maybe 5 minutes. There was only 1 car in front of us. There is a lane provided for RVs and Campers, but it's still a very tight fit. I bumped my right side mirror on a bollard, but it snapped right back into place once past.
I bit the bullet and drove the NYS Thruway from Buffalo east to the end. Per Google, it was saving me over 30 minutes over a 4 hour drive, and I judged it worth it, this time.
I-90 in New York, for the most part, was nice and smooth. There were a few rougher areas, but nothing painful, and no construction to note.
I-90 in Pennsylvania was nice, but traffic was getting a bit heavier. I stayed in the right lane, with the cruise set at 60 in a 65 zone, and it was a nice drive.
Same with Ohio. We got off I-90 before Cleveland and headed down to Punderson State Park, so don't know what the road surface is like from Exit 200 into Cleveland. The part we drove on was nice and smooth
Overall, it was a nice, pleasant 4 hour drive.
