We drove I-94 on a Sunday.
For the most part, North Dakota got it right. With a very few, short exceptions, I-94 westbound through North Dakota was a nice, smooth highway.
Some construction of note:
Around MP 343, the highway narrows to a single lane due to bridge work, with some of the lane using the shoulder. It's a fairly short work area.
Another single lane lasts about a mile near MP 305
There is a long eastbound crossover from near MP 172 that ends near MP 158 for EB roadway replacement.
