Calling on all the amazing experts out there.

I am usually the one who buttons up our girl for the winter. Normally would keep her plugged in to our home outlet to keep the space heaters on and keep the inverter/charger working to maintain our 300Ah lithium batteries (3 @ 100Ah/ea). I have a trickle charger/battery maintainer for our chassis batteries that I usually engage to keep them healthy thru the winter (mild in our locale).

Equipment: Victron Multiplus 3000 with 3 Battleborn 100Ah batteries (2 years old)

My husband ended up "taking care" of the buttoning up. He left it plugged in to our home outlet but TURNED OFF EVERYTHING, including the inverter/charger. :banghead:
In addition, he attached the battery charger to the chassis batteries but did not turn on the unit . Now our chassis batteries wont take a charge nor would our Norco unit repair so i am assuming they are shot and will need to be replaced. No biggie...easy fix.
:hooray:My main concern and question is about the house electrical system. I cant understand why the inverter/charger unit wont power up when we plug in our MH to our home outlet. We have a SurgeGuard that we plug into to make sure our shore power is safe and it registers that both Line 1 and Line 2 are good. Would our LiFePO batteries being drained cause a situation where the inverter would not turn on, even in Charge only mode?

I’m not sure how we can help you with specific answers. None of these devices are Winnebago specific items and your setup is unique to your RV, so it’s difficult to answer your questions. Have you contacted Victron about the Multiplus not powering up? That seems to be your main issue. I know that Victron doesn’t provide direct support, and you need to contact the selling dealer for such tech support, but that might be a good avenue to explore.

Victron also has an active Facebook group if you use Facebook.

Thanks for replying. Apparently the Aux battery switch was toggled off. As it turns out, the Victron inverter has to think about turning on...after about 20seconds...it powered up :D
All is well in our gals world, huge sigh of relief!
