It appears the PEX clamp on the inside wall of my rig on the other side of the Tank Fill connector is not fully secured and when I connect a fresh water hose to the Tank Fill connector water is leaking where the braded hose connects on the inside wall.
What potential problems might I create for myself if I back out the screws mounting the Tank Fill connector to the wall of the RV
and remove the connector to address the loose PEX clam from the outside wall rather than the inside wall? There is a bit of play in the braided hose, should I just cut it off at the inside connector to the fresh water connector and use a hose clamp to resecure it?
Either way I'll have to try and cut off the PEX clamp which appears to be stainless steel. Might be a bit tough with wire cutters?
