Recommendations for a fresh water hose?

What is recommended by users?
I have used a camco 25 ft., this bound up and was hard to stow...did not lay flat
Zero G 25ft, this worked great, slayed flat on the ground, easy to store etc. ( 8 or so times ) but, but started leaking at the spigot end.
What is best?
1/2" vs 5/8"
25' vs 50' ( have never needed a 50' )
any advice

I use the standard white 5/8-25' hose and have for many years I do however carry a 10 footer just in case, have used it once in many years. So guess that would be my recommendation.

As for storage, I have found that a low sided plastic bin of some sort works best for me. I leave the end that connects to the camper at the bottom of the stack in fact its secured so does not move. I leave enough to reach from the ground to campers water intake. After using just roll the hose up into the bin attach the two ends and off I go.

Are other hoses better maybe so but have no experience with them.

Another thought would be to buy a 35' hose, which actually is less expensive than either the 25' or the 50':

I use the blue Camco hoses. They can be a bit stiff when cold. I have a 10' and a 25'. I have had to use both before. If you want a really good hose, https://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/

EVO Flex is by Camco and it lays down like a soggy noodle, rolls up easy (in a hurry you could actually wad it up), it has nice brass fittings, and coil springs on the end to keep it from kinking. It's light blue in color, very soft, under a buck a foot and is drinking water safe.
Walmart carries it.
I've been using it for a year now without a bit of trouble.
IF it only lasted one year I'd be happy with it.

Several others have mentioned hoses they like, so I won't bother adding to that question. Regarding storing, I went a few seasons before getting a Lowes bucket. It fits fine where I store my hose and I don't have to worry about leaks into the storage area.

We needed a 50' hose once. I bought one then and keep traveling with it.
