In my Journey 07 36G, when i purchased, i had the twin recliner couch installed. This unit sortof changes into a "bed" but evryone that sleeps on it is unconfortable. Does anyone have one of these couches and if you use it for a bed do you use foam or someother material to cover it for bedding. At the moment I'm thinking of haveing it removed and putting in a hideaway.

thanks

We recently sold our couch and intend to put in a desk and another European recliner.
We just didn't find it comfortable and it was particularly poor when viewing TV.

We have the same recliner. We find that it works well for just the two of us watching TV but it's sure not a "bed" for adults to sleep on. We've taken to carrying an Aero Bed and set it up on the floor which is a pain but we really chose the floorplan for just the two of us so it's a compromise.

Just replaced our with a flexsteel magic bed, fits perfect, picked up at least 4 inches of floor space.

We were thinking of looking for some type of air mattress to lay on top of the recliner couch.
In 4 years we have only used the other sleeping areas once and the couple that slept on the recliner couch said it was not very comfortable and we thought of the air mattress just in case we need extra sleeping space again. We carry a air compressor with us so it would be easy to fill and easy to store.
