Anyone else replaced a rear rotor on thier class A?

Keep in mind, that Winnebago makes the house but Ford makes the Chassis. So, what you're looking for is advice on rear rotor replacement on a Ford F53 cutaway chassis. Not many Winnebago owners tackle this kind of work so you might find others with experience at other Ford Chassis communities. Half a dozen RV manufacturers build RVs on this chassis and every one of them is the same underneath as your Vista.

We have no idea of what Class A you have. It could be GM, Ford or Freightliner, depending on year and model. Brakes are chassis items and have little to noting to do with Winnebago.

The question wasn't asking which model. It was if there is someone that's done that job. It's common knowledge and everyone knows winnebago does not make the chassis. Just like winnebago doesn’t manufacturer 98% of the parts that go into thier motorhomes. If you don't know then don't answer the question. I thought this forum was to be helpful to everyone involved.

2008 Vista 26Ps were built on GM Workhorse chassis.

So I do have the 2011 Vista 26p on the f53 chassis. I bought new tires and found the L Rear rotor was badly damaged ftom an apparent sticking caliper. I purchased most of my parts from a former customer-Detroit Axle.(caliper, rotors, & break pads) Buying directly from them was cheaper than most part houses, and they offer free shipping. I'm guessing the job will take about 4 hours because you need to pull the axel, which means a new oil seal & end cap seal.

2008 Vista 26Ps were built on GM Workhorse chassis.

Well, Google AI shows that it was built on a Workhorse Chassis, but the Winnebago 2008 Vista brochure shows only the Ford F53 chassis.

Mike, while it is certainly possible that at some time in the future someone here will have experience in this and answer your question, it's not something that many of our members have attempted.

First off, there are only so many members with 2008 Vista motorhomes here, next there are far fewer, if any, that would ever even contemplate doing a job like this themselves. We are a Winnebago forum, yes, but we are not a Ford F53 chassis forum.
