A member noticed propane odor near the fill area on a 2017 View 24J after a recent tank fill and wondered if the tank might have been overfilled. Other members suggested checking the bleeder/fill vent valve, avoiding running anything while propane was smelled, using soapy water on valves and fittings, and having a real propane dealer inspect it if unsure.

The odor was first suspected to be related to the fill vent or possible overfill, but further checking found the regulator leaking around the black top and possibly the crimped seams. The member replaced the regulator and reported that everything was working properly afterward.
