Both, the “on/off propane switch” inside the coach of our 2016 Winnebago Via 25T, as well as the Emergency shut off switch in the under chassis propane storage compartment, appear to be stuck in the open position. We can move them up and down, but when they are both in the OFF position, the gas continues to burn. There is no leak and all of the propane system works just fine. But when we shut both switches to the OFF position, the propane cook stove continues to be able to light and burn. We can’t find anyone local to check it out. Campers World here in SE Mass refuses to work on Winnebago and our local Propane company couldn’t help us. I would feel more comfortable, however, with the ability to shut the valve. Any suggestions would be much appreciated . Thank you! p.s. If anyone knows of a Winnie repair person in SE Mass, we’d love the contact.

It takes a few minutes for the LP pressure in the lines to be consumed by the flame. Just let the cooktop burn for several minutes, it should run out of LP pressure.
I've never seen a manual LP valve fail to shut off the flow. If you require an RV tech to work on your LP system I suggest Camping World or other major RV sales and service company.
My local house LP supplier will work on mine, but I've been a customer for about 30 years.

Thanks but Campers World near us will not work on Winnebago and we also went to a Propane Plus company which also said they couldn't help. 🤷‍♀️ We had the stove burning longer than a few minutes thinking we needed to burn off fuel in the lines, which did not stop....
We'll continue to search for a propane repair service 👍
Thanks for your input though; much appreciated.

Maybe ready to co a check to see if a guess is anywhere correct?
Since you have two switches, that makes both going bad at the same time a little bit of a stretch. But if both electrical switches do not work, one of the more frequent problems might be that there is an electrical problem, rather than a mechanical problem?

We don't get the good info on the 12VDC systems after the 2010 model year but there appears to be reasonable guess that a 6 amp fuse feeds both switches their power!
Kind of "reading the tea leaves' but maybe not hard to check?
There is info that says a six amp breaker feeds the LP detector. Possibly it also feeds the shut off as there are some hints of that on other drawings!
Snip of the LP valve switch and wiring circuit involved:

Also if we look at the drawing of the power at the load center we find that circuit WB labeled as feeding from this breaker or fuse:

Sometimes we are faced with trying random guesses if the info is not complete?

But DIY Is so much cheaper if we get lucky!!

The manual shut off switch did not appear to be working, but we think it was user error. Thank you!
