Problems with 2008 View's side entry door

Problems with 2008 View's side entry door. The bottom lock keeps locking itself. Has anyone ever had this problem?

Hi Linda_sue55,
That sounds bad. I would recommend that you replace the lock handle with a new one.
I always keep a spare driver & passenger door key in my pocket, just in case I get locked-out. The good thing about a Class C is you have three doors. There are many threads here where a Class A with a single door locks itself, or the lock breaks, and the owner cannot get back in.

Yes, you need to replace the locking mechanism no fund crawling through the window, ended up buying a 10 feet wooden dowel so I could reach it from the driver window
