Before I reset the level calibration (Park on level ground, turn the system off, then on. Press Front 5 times, Rear 5 times, and then Retract 3 times to set the new zero point.) it would always bleed the airbags before it would extend the hydraulic cylinders. Now it doesn’t bleed the airbags and the rams have to try to level it from a road traveling height. What can I do to fix it. It is always running and has 13.7 volts and I don’t think it’s the solenoid because it was working just fine until then. Please help!

Found a manual for the system and it looks like good info:
I may not be spotting the exact correct model as your picture doesn't match what they show exactly but it seems the part/wires involved are the same on different models, so perhaps it is something you can use. Sometimes comparing what you see in the manual matches better than what I "think" from here!
So maybe see if this helps?
It sounds like two things are possible, so to start the chase, I go for the easier. First thought is that the solenoid to dump air may not be getting a good electrical signal to open. So it is corroded wire connections as the easier. Solenoid getting signal but defective? Or is it bad controls to send that signal from the control requiring control change? I would check wiring and solenoid as first option.
This manual shows the whole wiring layout but I have snipped a portion here to talk about:
dump.jpg

Maybe take a look at the different manual parts to find the one which matches your system and to get an idea of the whole but this seems to be my plan.
Find a set of plugs as shown and tap into the green wire for the dump valve? I sometimes find pushing a pin through the insulation to get contact for the meter probe is one way to go if I need to have access but leave the rest of a plug connected? Depends what type plug you find? Depending on what you find, battery or ground when not trying to dump, I set the meter to look for change when I call for dumping.
Watch to keep clear when dumping!!!!
If I see a change from what first found, that says the signal is getting there and I go left to solenoid to confirm it is good or bad if getting signal all the way there!
If no signal at this first plug, perhaps look for a second plug or move to right in drawing until I find signal changes or confirm bad control head?

Far easier to write up the idea than to do the work, so I will wish you luck and let you tell us what you find? (y);)

Lippert Corporation bought Power Gear. So you may try calling their Customer Care number 432-547-7378

I’m not sure how responsive they are. But it’s worth a try.

If you’ve lost the air dump feature simply by reprogramming the level setting it seems likely that it’s just a software issue. Reprogramming level software shouldn’t change wiring or solenoids.

Power Gear leveling was used on Gas and diesel motorhomes. The gas motorhomes don’t have airbag suspensions like your Horizon. Perhaps the level calibration routine you followed was applicable to the gas coach models?

I did some searching and found a thread on IRV2.com that addresses this issue and it seems that there is a missing step in the recalibration process for the air dump.
Here is a link to the post with information about the missing step:

And here’s a link to the entire thread:

This is for a different RV brand but it is for Power Gear levelers.

I'm struggling with the same problem (in 2020 Winnebago Forza 38W) and am hoping someone else may have ran into it already. Everything was working fine until resetting the zero level point when I lost the air dump function. I've tried going through the sequence tens of times with the additional 3 button press with no success. I've spent time on the phone with Lippert as well and the only advice they gave me was try to start with the air bags empty (which is difficult since I can't empty them).
My question in on the timing of the second 3 button press. After the initial 3 buttons for zero point set I understand the wait light is supposed to blink for about 20 seconds and the addition 3 pushes have to be done in this time. Mine is only blinking for about 5 seconds. Is this the case for others ?

Thanks Cookie ! I've tried many different timings within my 5 second window with no luck so far. I'm planning to let the coach sit until the bags empty themselves out and then try to start over without the engine running to see if it makes a difference.

Try one more thing. After you do the second three button push, push it three more times and you air bags should deflate.

This is what I did to reset mine so the air bags depleted.
The Power Gear P/N 140-1226 is an electronic leveling touchpad often used for hydraulic systems in Class A motorhomes, including models with air suspension dump features. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Setting the Zero Point (Level Calibration)
If your coach is not leveling correctly, you may need to reset the "Zero Point." This requires a physical level. [1]
  1. Start the Engine: Ensure the parking brake is set and the engine is running to maintain proper voltage.
  2. Turn Pad On: Turn the touchpad on.
  3. Enter Calibration Mode:
    • Press the FRONT button 5 consecutive times.
    • Press the REAR button 5 consecutive times.
    • All LEDs on the touchpad will blink, indicating you are in calibration mode.
  4. Level the Coach: Place a carpenter’s level on the floor in the center of the coach. Use the manual buttons (FRONT, REAR, LEFT, RIGHT) to level the coach.
  5. Save the Setting:
    • Press the "All Jacks" (or Retract) button 3 times.
    • The LED lights will stop flashing, indicating the new zero point is stored.
  6. Set Airbags: After step 5, the system will look for air dump/fill feedback. If you have an air system, the controller will automatically set the air dump/fill feature at this time. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Troubleshooting Airbag Dump Issues
If your airbags do not dump automatically when you press "Auto Level": [1]
  • Manual Dump: Try pressing the LEFT and RIGHT buttons simultaneously to manually dump the air.
  • Check Connections: Ensure all wires on the control board are connected, particularly those managing the "Auxiliary" or "Dump" functions.
  • Check Parking Brake: If the system does not detect the parking brake, the auto-level and air dump features will not activate. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Replacement Information
  • Replacement Part: The replacement touchpad for the 140-1226 is often listed as Lippert (Power Gear) #LC44UJ.
  • Manuals: Technical manuals (82-L0506, 82-L0379) can be found at PDX RV Wholesale. [1, 2]

I think the air spring dump valves are installed by the coach mfgr. instead of being part of the leveling system. I know it's that way with HWH brand leveling system.
I don't know if this helps, but any tidbit might help.
Pull the air tank drain valve cables and reduct air pressure to zero.
With engine off, enter and depart the MH several times. This causes a load imbalance with the air springs, then the leveling valves open and attempt to re-level the coach, but since there is no compressed air the air springs are forced to deflate.
