Posting Photos Problem

I've been active on many RV and off-road vehicle forums over the years. I've posted many articles about helpful modifications that I've done to my equipment as well as throwing out questions about topics, repairs and fixes that were well over my pay grade. Providing photos with what ever is posted is the best way to communicate ideas, suggestions, and information.

I just attempted to post a question on my air conditioner and find out that my photos using "Photobucket" is not allowed. It appears that I need to send my photos into the administrators for approval before posting.... If this is the case, I think it is most cumbersome to enjoy and utilize this forum.

My question to the administrators.... is there an easy way to post photos using any one of the free photo hosting sites? There has to be a way to streamline this process.

Thanks

Second question..... how can a post be edited?

*I now see the edit link... but how long does it last before that option is removed? I am unable to edit the above first post

Members have 60 minutes to edit their post.

We don't approve photos, members may upload photos directly.

Members may not use Photobucket since Photobucket changed their linking policy, but other photo hosting sites may be used.

You can upload photos directly from your computer to a post or you can upload photos to our free Gallery section as a hosting site.

There are several posts in this thread regarding photo posting.

I have tried again to load a photo using Google photos using your instructions:

To do this: Paste the url of the image into your post. Then add the following code on either side of the url (with no extra spaces):

The image will appear where the url was in your text.

This is what I typed, without the shown spaces........
url]

This is what will be shown...... which is a question mark?

Yes the photo link can be clicked and the photo will appear, however I would like the photo to directly load within my post.

Should I find another image hosting site or is there something I'm not doing correctly?

Yeah, blocking photobucket was a bogus move - mine is paid for at least two years. It's heavy-handed moderating that simply isn't necessary.
So nobody gets no stinkin' pictures from moi. LOL
