what have you done to stop the mirror from shaking? The convex is steady but the upper shakes.

We have had some mirrow which had it stuck on the mount with a glue that had come loose. That left it staying more or less in place, not falling out but also free to wiggle every time we hit a bump. Maybe check if it it the whole mount moving or if only the glass portion on the mount which is loose?

I took mine apartand found one of the clip mounts was not snapped in. I had to remove the glass portion with a long putty knife, then used double sided tape to reinstall it.

I rolled up a few pieces of 1” x 1/8” non-adhesive rubber tape and wedged it on three sides between the housing and the mirrors. No more shaking. Just adjust your mirrors first. I can still make small adjustments with the mirror position controls.

For a quick fix, (now in it's third year) I set the mirror angle to a good view, and then put a half inch blob of clear RTV joining each corner of the mirror to the mirror housing.
No more shaking, and as a bonus, the RTV stays flexible enough that the mirror view is still adjustable using the inside the cab controls.
Some day I might take it apart and fix whatever is wrong with the plastic supports that live behind the mirror glass...or maybe not.....but if I do the RTV will just peel off.
