Finishing the bottom with 1/4 inch oak plywood stained to match. Waited way too long for how easy this was.

Hi bhuppert, Looks great.:goodjob: How did you attach the new TV and do you have front facing speakers on the TV. Someone yesterday I think, posted the sound bar he added to his.
We have the 2002 Adventurer 32V that I would like to switch out. What I would really like to do is remove the recliner and find a cabinet to put a pop up TV in that spot. Just thinking out loud.

speakers on the visio seem fine for such a small space. Used another piece of 2x12 vertically from the base attached to the ceiling. Very tight and going to use commercial black velcro for squeak/movement prevention.

I thought of the same pop up idea as you have. I finally went this way based on ease of install and my wife likes the recliner....

Nice looking job. I put a new Vizio in our coach. The Vizio has a analog audio out put that connects to the Winnebago sound system. We have the option of using Vizio internal speakers or the Winnebago sound system. We are happy with ours also.

Bhuppert, I want to do the same thing, I have a 1999 Itasca 32T, but can't figure out how to remove the plastic trim around the TV. Can you help? Thanks, Carl

I put a Vizio in my 97 Sunrise but Cant get my external speakers to work. I have the wire with the jack from the old sony but plugging it into Vizio nothing happens? Any Ideas??

You'll need to add an external amp for the spkrs to work. Our old Sony had one built in. I bought from Best Buy a PYLE PCA2, 2x40watt stereo amp which plugs into the TV headphone jack and out to spkrs. Works awesome!

You need to solder connections into the speaker on the TV if not equipped with a variable audio out

Carl all the screws are exposed on the plastic trim ring if memory serves me. Some on the bottom and sides. Then just pulls off.

Nice Job! We had our's done in Oregon by a coupe of great guys and turned out great!
Worth every penny.

Very nice results but I’m concerned about the metal frame being required structurally. Did you add any additional bracing beside the wood?

No. The frame doesn't add any structure to the coach. Just holds the old tv. My finished product ties the two sides together better with no squeaks.
