I’m new to rv life and am enjoying it. My husband and I retired to our boat in 2018 and had plans to head to Canada then Mexico last spring. And they closed their borders due to COVID. Not wanting to spend another wet Oregon winter on the boat I decided to get a motorhome to winter. I am clueless to all aspects of maintenance and repair so I’m sure I’ll be seeking a lot of advice.

Welcome
I think you will find that maintenance on a MH is very close to maintenance on a boat. MH you may stay a little bit dryer!

Use and enjoy is the key to either

Welcome & Good Luck! The biggest difference is, if you start taking on water it’s probably coming from the top instead of the bottom.

Hey Crazy Navy! Suggestion would be to add your information to the signature line like below this post, and notice service. Adding make, model, mfg, etc., will help those who may be providing information to you.

Welcome and safe travels. Come on down, it is in the low 70's today here in TC.

Remember, no question is a dumb question. We have all been there at the beginning. Although we may have different brands of RV's many items are similar - probably like boats.
