Hello;
We started RVing a year & half ago in a class B & we’ve really enjoyed the r v experience, we did a 6.5 week roadtrip from California back to hone base of south Florida & realized that the class B is really nice but we do need more room since we are planning more roadtrips & longer trips. We brought new to us 2015 vista 35F with on 16,000 miles. Love the extra room & all the features. Looking forward to this new experience.

I find I operate differently that many so this is just something to chew on and see how it fits with you? I'm a diehard DIY guy and try to fix as many things as I can. So one way to fit that together with enjoying trips a bit more is to do a lot of the study on what the new RV has , how it works, and how it may not work.
One of the hardest things to do is to fix an item when I'm not sure how it is supposed to work. Little things like which lights are expected to be on and what they mean? So I've been slowly going through the new-to-me and looking at every system I can, looking up the drawings, and snipping out the ones which apply to my RV and printing them. Then using those drawings, I am going through and finding most of those "hidden" fuses, relays and solenoids!
I have been out on the road where the internet is not handy, info is only available at the parts store, if at all, and I now try to leave home with as much info in the case with the manuals and I like to have an idea where to look for the basics like fuse panels.
Having the drawings handy with parts highlighted and notes of where to find some items is certain to be much less stress than trying to find them while standing on the side of the freeway in the middle of a pouring rain!
Maybe now is a good time to do a good close look at things----just in case we need them.
