Hi ya’ll, new to this forum been rving for a number of years. Just wanted to say hi and ask a question about my fresh water pump. It won’t stop running unless I turn it off, I checked everything I can think of, no apparent leaks, inlet screen clean, plenty of pressure on outlet side of pump and only about 1/2 amount of flow at taps etc. 2004 sightseer 30B, we’re 2nd owners and have been babying it, any answers would be helpful before I take it in for $150/hr, thanks again

Sounds like it could be a couple of things.

First, I think you have a city water/tank fill selector in your Wet Bay. If so, be sure it’s not set on tank fill, because that will make your pump run nonstop.

Next there is an adjustable pressure cutoff on the pump head of your pump. There are tons of videos on YouTube illustrating how to adjust that.

I don’t know what water pump you have, but Winnebago usually installed ShuFlow 4008 pumps and if you have that one you’ll find lots of troubleshooting videos on YouTube, as well.

Hope this helps.

Great advice below - if you don't get a fix replacing the pump yourself is an easy fix and much less than parts / labor. Source the pump somewhere other than an RV store.

Keep in mind it has to build pressure to sense when to stop the pump. That means any opening on the output side of the pump will prevent building that pressure.
One place where that may happen is anyplace along the lines but those will often show a s a leak and be spotted.
A second point to check is the vacuum line used to suck antifreeze in for winter. That normally has a valve near it as well as the line should be capped. If air is being sucked in, actual water flow will be minimum and more air is being passed than water, so the pump never gets to build pressure.
There is a tiny screw on many pumps to adjust the set point for pressure but move it in really small moves as it doesn't take much.
