Hi Folks, name's Jim, retired Marine of 36 years. Started "camping" in 1967 in tents. Decided I did that during the week, why do it on weekends. Ha! Moved up through them all except classes "B" & "C. Finally moved to what seems to be referred to these days a "RV-ing," albeit I still like camping. Newmar Fiver, then two Newmar DPs, last one was a 40.' Drove it for 13 years. Finally decided to downsize due to age and kids/grandkids gone. Went to a FR gas. Oh dear, I won't go there; couldn't handle the noise, swaying, lack of power on grades, and much more! Year later bought a used 2018 Winnie Forza 34T and LOVE it! Don't know why I never looked a Winnies, guess I was stuck on Newmar's, but now that Winnie owns Newmar I'm fine. Both good rigs.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and my navigator, Nancy. Hope to see ya on the road someday. Meanwhile, safe travels, and keep it between the lines. Semper Fi, Jim

Hi Jim,
The Forza 34T is the smallest of the big ones. It looks perfect for you and Nancy. Still, it looks like it has plenty of room for the potential great grandkids? Who knows?
Welcome to the forum.

Thank you

Yes the Forza is a nice smaller rig, I really like it. Didn't need that big Newmar. any more at my age. Couldn't see buying anew rig any more. Albeit was in great shape even after 13 years oif driving it. Thanks Eagle5.

Hey Jim, Jim here also :) Old Marine MGySgt, only 30 years :) we did much the same DP's, class C, Class A's of many types and finally this new to us Winnebago Brave 2004 34D, (Sounds like a bra size :) ). Really like it and also the price we got it for, has a lot of problems but slowly rectifying those.

I would say welcome to the forum, but I'm pretty new here myself. Hope to see you down the road sometime, can't wait for spring, going to be headed to Oklahoma and Texas, want to stop by Colaw RV salvage in Carthage Mo, to shop in some of the salvage RV's out there. Can't locate a screen door slider, that plastic thing anywhere that will fit our door.

Anyway glad to meet another Marine, Semper Fi. BTW I'm still active in the Marine Corps League, we do most all of the Veterans Funerals in our area.

In the picture I'm second from right, 1st rifleman.

Jim, Gee, seems to be lots of Marines on this site, guess it's an outdoor thing with us. Ha. Thank you for the shout out. BTW, read the book, We'll All Die as Marines? I'm the author. You'll love it. S/F, Jim
