We have a 2002 Itasca Horizon 32TD with a coolant leak from the dash heater.

Have researched here for the past 3-4 hours, and have found some references to needing to remove the front cap to replace/repair the core, and even a reference to a step-by-step by BattChief as a how-to guide, but after all this time, I am unable to locate the step-by-step referenced in one of the multiple threads I was able to find.

Someone referenced the thread by BattChief as being authored 04/09/06, but it does not come up with anything that I can find using the search engine.

I admit to being pretty much computer-challenged. Hoping for some assistance in finding the thread reference. Not afraid of the work, just would like a primer to help me avoid the pitfalls.

Thanks, Steve

Hi, welcome. I checked and there is a member "BattChief" but he has not visited this website in over 5-years. Besides, if you follow it was RLS that mentioned creating a step by step and never did. However, he hasn't revisited here in over 6-years.

On the repair front, I suggest you start anew and ask for help from other 2002 Horizon owners - here or on www.irv2.com. OH, I see you have another thread on this already on the forum. Best to use that one, rather than to confuse things with two threads on the same topic. I'll close this one.

You might hire an independent mobile rv tech to come and take a look at your situation, too.
