Hi, we are hopeful new owners of a 22 Sunstar 29V. Should come off the line in Forrest City in mid Sept and then to dealer. We have previously owned a 20 Thor Mercedes unit and decided we needed additional space.

Excited for the additional space and the Winnebago quality. We will be living in the unit for 10 weeks in Florida early 22 as we volunteer at a local non profit company.

Have read a lot of good things about the new engine and upgraded chassis with beefier sway bars. If you have a similar unit how has your experience been with handling and mileage. Have you done the CHF or added the Safe-T-Pluse.

Also any tips or Tricks for the 29V appreciated.

TIA

We bought new 2019 Sunstar 29VE and we just love it. We put in Safe T Plus and Sumo Springs. Both made a very obvious difference but Sumo Springs are over priced. Would do both again though.

We have so much space that quite often we never extend the slide :thumb:

I can't believe how much they cost today and the long lead times. We bought 3 months before Covid was known, and cherry picked which coach we wanted. Ours was perfect. We spent 5 hours on PDI and found no defects of issue worth mentioning.

Welcome to the Winnebago world! You must be super excited to start your new adventures.
We applaud you for your volunteer work as well.
Eagle5 has given you some invaluable tips. You’re a RV vet, so you know what to do with them. We’ll all be here cheering you on…
