New owners - 2018 Spirit 22M

Howdy everyone, we’re new to the RVing community, just bought a 2018 Winnebago Spirit 22M , we live in Southern California, just trying to get familiar with it , going on a test run 200 miles north of us for Christmas and then Florida next January for another grandchild due next month .
Any positive advice will be appreciated

Congratulations on the new RV and the newest family member addition!
Make sure to do some close to home camping trips and verify everything works as expected. Nice to do service work & warranty work close to home before a long trip.
Camping in a RV is a bit like a relationship. Takes time to get used to things, especially the shortcomings. A little time helps us adapt and enjoy.
