Hi All,

Brand new member. Nice to meet you all! We’re picking up a ‘22 Micro Minnie 2306BHS next weekend. Our boys will be in the bunks, but our almost 3 year old is taking the dinette conversion table bed. Has anyone used some kind of aftermarket style safety bed or made any modifications to prevent little ones from climbing but especially accidentally rolling out while sleeping? I figured we’d ask the pros before turning my wife loose on Amazon.

Also, anyone towing with a Curt TruTrack 4P hitch? My rig is a ‘19 Ram 1500 5.7 crew cab off road and tow package with 3.21 gears. Payload is 1900 and max tow 8200.

Thanks in advance!

Also meant to ask - will be keeping it outside. Are most of you covering yours or do they hold up pretty well? Thanks!

Hi Wes,
With regard to the dinette converted into a bunk, I put a rug anti-skid pad down on top of the dinette countertop so that the cushions do not slide-out. As far as rolling-out of bed, the basic bed bumper with a blanket tucked over & under should prevent any accidental falling-out.
It rains so much where I am (plus tree mess), I definitely cover my motorhome:

When our boys were younger, we built some rails out of PVC pipe. The are held in place with “legs” under the mattress. If you google, there are a bunch of how to”s online. Held up surprisingly well as the kids grew.
