Dave from Orange County, California! I just purchased a used 2014 Winnebago View 24J. I am excited for future possibilities and adventure that comes along with owning a RV.
I never owned a diesel automotive nor diesel Sprinter, so this will all be new to me. I understand that DEF is an issues with these motorhomes. I read somewhere if you bypass the DEF, the Sprinter has a more horsepower/ torque. I hope I don't regret purchasing this POST DEF sprinter. A good friend of mine has the exact model but 2008 and he tells me he loves his Pre-DEF Sprinter made Winnebago. Maybe I ll sell mine and buy a 2008 PRE DEF Sprinter?!
First, I want to change out shocks and struts and make it better so it rides better. I was researching about the shocks but besies Fox shocks, are there aftermarket shocks that are better than the stock shocks/ struts.
I willl definately put a Hellwig sway bar, but is there one made for the front? Any other suggestions or ideas, please let me know. And if you have similar models i would love to hear about your experiences....Thank you.
