Hi, We just purchased a 2003 Journey DL 36 GB and know nothing about RV's. Having lots of issues on my cleaning end and my husband's mechanical end.
So much to list that I need help with, not sure the welcome mat is the place to do it.
Lynn & Chad Tempesta We live in Minnesota and in our 50's still working so not traveling around just yet. We got a seasonal site, but plan to travel with it when we can.

Welcome and congrats on the motorhome!

Just start a new thread - one per problem is common in the Class A forum and we'll be happy to help and answer questions.

A couple of things to keep in mind, we'll need to know the year, model and floorplan (2003 Journey DL 36G:cool: EACH time you start a new thread or ask anything specific in some other thread. It's best to do what the rest of us do, and put that info in your signature, then you don't have to remember to add it.

I'll put a photo explaining how to add this to your Signature below.

The other thing is photos are a big help to explain what you are referring to. So, be sure to learn how to attach photos to your posts asking questions about things. Here's link to the instructions how to do this if you are not "forum savvy" posters.

Lastly, Winnebago has online documentation for just about every possible thing you could need for your motorhome on their website:

https://www.winnebago.com/owners

For example, here's a PDF of those big books in the briefcase you got with the RV (hopefully):

https://www.winnebago.com/Files/Fil.../OperatorManuals/Operator2003/03JourneyDL.pdf

Best of luck, glad you found us.

PS. Never forget your coach is 20+ years old and has had other owners so all bets are off on what they added, changed, reworked, screwed up and broke. So, we can't answer all questions based on your exact coach.

Sounds like you both will be having a lot of fun in the coming months. Some times old is good! my 07 Meridian (sister to the journey) is well built and, I think, easier to maintain than the newer units.

Just try and do one project at a time so as not to get overwhelmed. You will find RVers are some of the most friendly folks around. We will always try and help another RVer not matter what the problem. Just ask as we all have been there.

Good Luck and have fun
