It's our first RV, and I'm slowly figuring it all out. One question for you veterans: We pull it with 2017 Ford F150 XLT Crew Cab 4WD, and I need new tires. Looking at Michelin Defender LTX M/S. That should be plenty of tire to tow a 5,000-pound trailer, correct?

Hi Doug,
I checked Discount Tire for their rating on the Michelin Defender LTX M/S, and it is a Best rating with 4.8 stars.
As far as towing the trailer, the truck tire is sized to the tonnage capacity of the truck, so if it has the correct truck load rating, it will be fine for towing the amount for which the truck is rated. 5,000 pounds should be no problem.
