Hello to all Winnie owners ! I am a new member. Pappy

I have a 2022 Micro Minnie FLX 25 foot. The clear coat is falling off the front nose. Sounds like Winnebago is going to cover it and redo it. Has anyone else had this issue ?

Greetings Pappy,
If you search this forum for:
clear coat
you will see many results. If you have a say in how it is repaired, you might consider 3M Paint Protection Film. It might last better than Clear Coat. Perhaps a body shop can give you the real-world pros and cons.

Hi @Pappy-WO and welcome. I have a 2022 Micro Minnie FLX and just this week noticed the clear coat peeling off of the front cap only. No cracks that I can tell. I put a call in today and emailed them photos. We'll see what they say. I'm interested how/if your issue got resolved.

Winnebago sent out an entire new front cap that was installed by Camping World. I cannot believe the clearcoat would fall off in 2 years. I have spent about 40 hours fixing and repairing all kinds of issues on the unit. Numerous plumbing leaks, furnace was mounted with one screw and fell off the wall in the cabinet it was mounted to. Furnace then had the bolts come lose that hold the motor to the fan which was a really difficult repair and a new one is over $ 2,000 installed spent 6 hours on that. Replaced all the drawer screws with ones that were adequate and glued the seems of the drawers with gorilla glue, every other screw was striped as they used an electric drill to put in the way too small screws. Good thing I am super handy or I would not own it any longer.

I have only been on here a few months, like you, my first post was not happy joy joy because of tall the issues with our 2025 Winnebago... Because of our experiences with some of the trailers the day we brought the RV home I went through and tightened every screw I could see. The RV spent the next 42 days in the shop, we took it out for 7 days, 150 miles, and half those screw's came loose, in one case a handle just fell off. It went back to the shop and 125 days after buying it it's back home. I went back though all the screws and wood glued them in and reseals some stuff.

Anyway, welcome.
