We just ran out to Indiana to pick up our new Voyage 5th wheel. 27 hours later we were back home with the new unit and it tows like a dream. Brought home some Indiana and Ohio bugs on the nose cap. So far we are very impressed with the Winnebago. Maiden Voyage(no pun intended)Memorial Day weekend.

Hello Eagle 5! Sorry for the delay getting back to you-we have been on our maiden voyage. We had a 2014 Wildcat 282RKX, and I honestly think the 3134 tows better. We tow with a 2020 F350 diesel crew cab 8'box. Looking forward to getting out again in two weeks!

Hi again 3134NY,
Great report that all went well, and that it towed well too. Do you have the dual rear wheels or the single rear wheels on your F-350 Crew? I have often wondered if the dual rear wheels reduce the maneuverability of a 5th wheel (can't turn as sharply?).
Thanks, Eagle5

We are single rear wheels. Dualies typically have a smaller tire(17' vs 18" on mine). According to the specs I see at Car and Driver, they turn the same. I think a 2WD would turn tighter, but I may be wrong. We use a B&W Companion hitch, and the jaws are snug on the pin stopping any shock when accelerating or braking. The Roto-Flex on the Winne seems to help with the towing too. The pin weight just puts me to the overloads, and rides great. The balance seems spot on with the 3134.
