What upgrades changes should I do to my 2021 ERA. it is all original best I can tell
1) The 2021 ERA does not have a battery boost function. I think an AMP L start is a possible solution are there better solutions? Where is the best place to install
2) I do get notifications from the MB App that the 'state of charge of your vehicle starter battery is critical" The AMP L start should solve that problem.
3) What is a shunt? and do I need one? What do you recommend.
4) Coach batteries are original but seem to be fine. When they go I'd like to upgrade to lithium. The Zamp solar controller/charger is compatible, I'm not sure about the Converter or Inverter though.
5) a couple weeks ago I lost all coach power while boondocking. I replaced the battery disconnect switch but that didn't make a difference. I dropped the batteries to test them & the megafuses. Batteries were 12.5+ volts & the megafuses showed continuity. I removed the passenger seat to get to the Battery disconnect relay. Lo & Behold while testing that the power came back on. It is still working but I suspect it is going bad so I ordered one & it will get delivered tomorrow. Going to make sure all the connections under the seat are secure. Is there any where else I should check?
6) we travel with two rescue dogs. What monitoring device would you recommend? I do have the WIFI subscription from MB but I don't know how long it will stay on if the ignition is turned off. I'm leaning towards the Marcell unit as it has built in cell.

Lots to unpack there, so I might start the conversation but be aware that it is not an easy subject to get a straight answer for many reasons!
One is that there are tons of options to sort and things change almost before we get done with the study!
For starter, it is likely you will find the Trik-L lineup is not to be found! UGH! So many had learned to love them but the owner seems to have died or left the scene and the product may be super hard to find! You might get lucky and I have NOT done a personal search, just restating what I hear from on here?
But you may need to spell out some more details of when and why the batteries were that low, before we get into some of the other details. Changing to lithium is kind of a big jump all on it's own, so knowing what all the small parts are doing may help avoid some big time confusion?
I might first want to check deeper into what the battery cutoff is doing if it is hit and miss. It should be a pretty steady, dependable item without much to confuse us. It is a magnetic gizmo called a latching relay and should stay on or off until told to move, even if the battery supply is totally lost!
Corrosion seems to be a much bigger problem in RV as we leave them unused for longer periods in many cases.
I might lean toward checking both positive and negative battery cables at both ends as a first stop, before changing the relay.

Thanks. I read the same thing about Amp L start. I think there should some product that will do the same thing
