Need Cell hotspot help

I have Sprint. There are places where coverage is weak and I am at one now. From all I have read online and in forums, WiFi boosters and repeaters are not as effective as my iPhone hotspot should be. Are there ways to improve my cell reception/strength? TIA.
Otherwise I would have to try a booster. Thoughts, please?

Really, your best option is to get a Verizon or ATT hotspot. If the Sprint T-Mobile merger happens maybe you’ll have better luck. But overall, Sprint is the worst option.

A cell booster can’t boost a signal that’s not there.

Thanks. I thought that might be the case with boosters. I bought a Verizon hotspot but it was a bad experience. Burned up data way too fast.

Go do a search on irv2.com for AT&T Mobley. I got in on the deal in 2017 and have used it all over the country for about $25/month.

I use my AT&T iPhone Hotspot with a Weboost 4G Cellular Signal booaster and we get stronger signals on the iPhone. The Weboost 4G will take a two bar signal and boost it up to 4 or 5 bar.

Check out www.rvmobileinternet.com. There you’ll learn so much about all your options for data plans, hotspots, phones, boosters and WiFi. As to a Verizon hotpot burning through data too fast, well that’s what happens with mobile internet. The better it works the more you use it.

About that website above, they have great info there but much of it is for paying members only. I held off joining for a few years and finally paid to join a few years back. I learned so much and saved so much that I happily renew each year. It’s a great asset if mobile internet is important to you on the road.

Very impressed with its signal strength and speed of connections. Amazon has various power adapters to use with the device.

can you please elaborate on exactly how you got it, ie where did you get it on a website or in an att store, what did you ask for etc. I am having difficulty tracking this down.

It doesn’t have its own battery but it basically is a hotspot. We’ve got ours connected to an adapter that lets me power it off a USB connected to a 12V adapter.

It was a huge effort on my part to get it on Feb 1. Many phone calls, start & stop incorrect orders, two trips to the local store (no help with order), shipped to my summer address, had to forward to my winter address. Bad SIM when I did get my hands on it, another trip to store to replace it. A lot of hassle, but seems to be worth it.

$20/month, unlimited bandwidth, 5 connection hotspot, lots of adapter support on Amazon, no charge for equipment if agree to a 2 year contract. So far, 30-40mbps up and down in our current location. There is a known setting for power off at the 2 hour point, but 10 seconds to repower and connect.
