Some WBGO towables have a water heater bypass, some don't.

Have you looked at the Operator's Manual? This is a subject that's covered in every manual. If you don't have the Operator's Manual you can go to www.winnebagoind.com and click on the Resources tab. Then click on Service. Then scroll down to see the link for Operator's Manuals.

Usually the water heater bypass is always in the rear of the water heater near the cold water in & hot water out. You will probably need to remove a cover with screws near the water heater inside the trailer.

On my micro minnie, the water heater bypass is located behind the front panel of the bathroom vanity. Have to remove the panel by removing the square drive screws.

We have a 2020 2106DS Micro Minnie. We also had a search for the elusive bypass. It is a hose loop directly off of the water heater which is located under the bathroom sink. This is not the usual 3 valve system. There is a valve directly mounted at both the hot and cold water points on the heater. A hose attaches to those on the right and is run to the side panel in order to give it some room - no valve is on it, just a label stating "bypass". Turn both valves towards the colored lines (red and blue) and this will be the bypass setting. Normal setting is both valves pointing to the heater.

Adding the pink is done at the water pump, located under the kitchen sink just as manual directs. We used about 1 1/2 gallon our first time - don't forget the outside shower, easy to do.

please be advised, to complicate getting to the hot water tank bypass, the panel referred to in the previous post (under the sink cabinet) ALSO has a heater duct attached to a vent that warm the bathroom toasty warm. Do NOT pull the panel all the way out or this duct will become disconnected from the vent (and it is NOT easy to reattach). just pull the panel away gently, exposing the back or the hot water tank and you'll see the 3 bypass valves, and can reach in the turn them.

I have read these posts with interest (newbie also with a newly acquired 2106DS) and am motivated to inquire: why would we want/need to know where this bypass is and more importantly, why would we want to engage the hot water tank bypass?

To winterize. You DO NOT want antifreeze in your hot water heater.
