I've been doing this since 1955 in my parents 16' Shasta. We recently downsized from a three slide 40' DP and think we have finally found "The Solution" after owning about every type of RV made. We currently have a 2015 Vista 27N, purchased new in 11/2016 and which is the equivalent of the current Vista LX 27N. It has tremendous storage both inside and out and contains everything we previously had in the DP. We have added a Roadmaster steering stabilizer, Sumo Springs and Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C surge protector. We have a Cobra 75 WX ST CB, Rand McNally RVND 7730 GPS and a Garmin dash cam. We also use Spring Front RV Windshield Sunshades which really help keeping the coach cool in the Texas sun. We have a portable solar panel to charge the batteries when boondocking. We own a ranch which is like owning our own state park but we also travel quite a bit and will have over 13000 miles on our Winnie by the end of 2017.

Older post but just wanted to chime in...we just bought a 2018 Vista lx27n. How are you liking yours? We moved from a 25’ View and I’m amazed at all the space/storage for just a few extra feet (class A design helps too obviously). Can’t wait to get some trips in when the weather clears

We just made the deal yesterday on a lightly used 2013 Itasca Sunstar 27N, the lay out and storage is what sold us. We have had bumper pull trailers, Fifth wheels and truck campers but this is the first motor home. The suspension upgrades you have done seem to be very popular, good luck with your new rig!

Welcome to both new 27N owners. We just returned from a trip this weekend, have another next weekend and another in two weeks. We still love this floorplan and hope it works as well for you as it has for us.
