Locating O2 Sensors on a 2003 Itasca Suncruiser

I need to replace My O2 sensor in my itasco. Winnipego sun cruiser 2003. Does anyone have any experience with that? I need to locate where it is. I had a mechanic do an OBD reading, so we know that the 02 sensor was bad.

O2 sensor would be part of the stripped chassis and more truck part than RV! So taking a look at a truck manual for the type chassis you have is a more direct way to go. That info should be on a label near the driver's left side, if not something you have looked at before.

Presumably you have a Ford chassis??? If so check with various Ford repair and parts shops.

I have a 2005 Itasca Suncruiser with the 8.1 engine. I actually looked at my O2 sensors today. I crawled under my unit from the passenger side, looking at something else, and they both were very visable and looked easy to change. Saying that, I have not tried to change mine.

Ok, so you have the model with the Workhorse Chassis and Chevy engine. That should give you some further direction.

Which O2 sensor? There could be three (or four if true dual exhaust).
Bank 1 Sensor 1 should be on the driver's side exhaust manifold.
Bank 1 sensor 2 should be on the passenger side exhaust manifold
If Y-pipe and single catalytic converter, Bank 2 Sensor 1 will be right after the CC.
If true dual exhaust with two CCs, the Bank 2 Sensor 1 should be right after the driver side CC.
Bank 2 Sensor 2, right behind passenger side CC.
