An RVer with a 2011 Winnebago Vista 26P reported that the HWH leveling motor runs, but the jacks will not extend, and asked how to determine whether the pump is working. Multiple members suggested checking hydraulic fluid, which was initially at the bottom of the dipstick. The RVer confirmed the parking brake was set and the 40-amp fuse was good, then filled the fluid to the dipstick mark with no change.

Members suggested possible solenoid, wiring, or control-head problems, but none...

How can I tell if my HWH leveler pump is working on My 2011 Winnebago Vista I can hear my Motor working but my jacks are not coming down

I might guess the most common issue for newer users is the fluid level. Do you have the manual on how to use the jacks? That would be my first suggestion to get the correct manual as there are several really simple things to look at before assumeing it has a major repair problem. It can be as simple as failing to have the brake set, etc. or a fuse blown!

It's at the bottom of dip stick, that surely wouldn't keep it from working would it and the emergency brake is ob and the 40 amp fuse is good...

Yes, I think fluid has to be near the top , something like 1/4 inch down or less! One reason for needing it full is that the fluid is pushed out as jacks go down, so it has to start with plenty in the tank when they are up!
This should lead to a link to get either the owners manual for general user instructions or for troubleshooting flow charts:
You did not tell us enough about the specific RV to sort it closer! One of the big problems with sorting RV trouble is how many Winnebago there are for each year and almost all of them DO have some small differences that can be important. Things like which chassis it is built on will change things!

My coach is a Vista 26P...yes I do have manual and I have ben using the jacks for the 2 years that I have owned it...

If the fluid is where it should be and the motor is running, that sounds like a deeper problem in the control head, the wiring between some of the parts or a bad solenoid. That's where I go looking for the manual for the troubleshooting flow charts!
Just too many possible points to guess at a cure.
Have you found which series you have?

Based on your post $6, I suspect a solenoid is not opening. Follow the troubleshooting guide. BTW a new solenoid is >$500 now.
This will help ID your leveling system model#. When you know your model# you can download a free copy of the complete service manual from the web. It has a great troubleshooting section.
If the troubleshooting guide doesn't help solve the problem, call rvleveling.com and ask to speak with Andre there, he is the HWH expert at Stewarts Inc.

If the pump motor is whirling faster than normally and the jacks don't work it is probably the shuttle valve. They go without warning. I changed mine on my Adventurer, got it at Stewarts, if you need phone # for them let me know. pretty easy to change it, you can tell if it's bad by removing it and shaking it, if it rattles it no good.
