Leaking Storage Door 2024 Winnebago M Series Travel Trailer

I have a 2024 Winnebago M series trailer. The front basement storage door leaks really bad, I can get a seal to keep rain water out. It is a flip up door, I've had new rubber seal put in, tried pushing foam backer rod around the top and side opening (which would only be a temporary fix until I needed to open door), but nothing seems to work. Looking for any one who has had similar problems and if they found a fix or is the only alternative to try and get a whole new assembly. It is clearly a design flaw on Winnebago's part.

Make sure all the screw heads in the inside of your door's frame have layer of good sealant over them. The factory just does a quick swipe with the caulk gun in one direction, and I found multiple leaks past the screw heads on my Micro Minnie. I removed the factory work, and I applied my own good caulk making sure it was pushed against the screw heads 360° around them. No more leaks.
