Hello all!
My wife and I are self-employed, a year or two ago we started looking for ways to really get away from work. She loves road trips, I love camping - this seemed like a good compromise.
We started by going to a cg up in Maine and saying in a MH, just to see if it was remotely feasible for us. I had grown up doing this, but it was all new to her.
She decided it was 'cool' so our next step was renting one for a week and driving 1800 miles to see the totality of the eclipse last year in TN. It was a great trip, we loved it. I was even surprised a little by how much I enjoyed being on the road.
So then it was forums, and classifieds and dealers and shows ... and excel spreadsheets. A lot of reading, a lot of looking, until finally:
We just purchased a 2005 Winnebago Adventurer 35A. Not exactly the floor plan I wanted, but everything else was perfect, and a few things better than I had expected or thought of.
