The member overextended the leveling jacks on a 2005 Itasca Suncruiser, leaving one front wheel off the ground, and could not get the extended jacks to retract. They confirmed the pump motor seemed to work because a jack that had not been extended could still extend, but manually trying the white switches or solenoids on the pump did not help.

Members suggested checking an HWH 725 troubleshooting guide, being very cautious about any method involving releasing the parking brake or putting...

I have extended my jacks on my 2005 Itasca Suncruiser, and I accidentally got them too far extended. One front wheel is off the ground. I've been trying to retract them to redo it and they just won't budge. There's one jack that I didn't extend at all, because it was fine. I tried just now to extend it, and it worked fine. So the motor is working. I'm wondering if they're so far out that they're stuck. I've read in a couple of places that you can start the engine, and either release the parking brake or holding the foot brake put it in gear, and they will automatically retract. Does this work?

There are white switches/solonoids on the pump that will retract them

I would be very slow to use the ideas that you have on how to get it to retract as it seems very odd!
One big point is that I've never seen any connection between jacks and the foot brake??
There is a switch on the parking brake to alert us when it is set, but I know of none telling us anything about the foot brake! Any alarm light on the system seems to be connected to the park brake?
If the info is wrong and you have the RV in gear, what happens to the jack if it is still down when the RV moves? OUCH!

My Winnebago 2004 Brave 34D had a series of storing mishaps and every time was different, including what you describe. If you try the above technique, make sure your down wheels are chocked as to not move. I found once that when the rig cooled down, the store mode worked again and dropped the rig normally. Once. Eventually, I replaced the Shuttle valve and no more issues. The troubleshoot guide listed by our Senior member is a great reference. Good luck and be safe.

May not be the same problem that I just had. But in my coach battery compartment…there is a small breaker. After 3 hours of trying everything I saw a video that said this is normally the issue…it was!

I ended up taking it to Stuart's Service in Elkhart, which is not far from me. Andre walked me through getting the jacks up on the phone so I could take it there. I ended up having to open up one of the the check valves on top of the manifold, then closing it again. It worked like a charm! They replaced two of the solenoids, and the shuttle valve, and it seems to be working fine now. It is 21 years old, and probably just time for all that. I highly recommend Stuart's. Andre will take good care of your rig. He also said that I should get my control board on the dash rebuilt by HWH in Moscow, IA. It seems to be having some issues with a couple of the buttons. He said they will do a good job for a very reasonable price. I can just send it to them.
