The jacks down light is on and it’s beeping while we are driving. The jacks are all up. Has anyone had this issue? How did you resolve it?

Not seeing you getting much help, so perhaps a guess will point in the right direction?
It is my understanding that the alarm is not actually sensing the jacks but is really doing a "remote" reading in that it senses the fluid in the reservoir!
What I mean by that is that I think the level of the fluid in the tank is being sensed rather than the actual jack position.
When we run the jacks down fluid is pumped out of the tank and into the lines to make the jacks extend. When we retract the jacks, that fluid is moved back into the tank and the alarm should go out!
So in the way of mechanical brains, when the fluid in the tank is low, the jacks must be down?
This may only be worth two cents but a check of the fluid level in the tank may be the cure!
But there are lots of different jacks on lots of different RV, so the warranty on my fix DID expire yesterday!
That's the way things go, right?

But I suggest doing a check of the fluid in the tank and will wish you luck on that!

I go with the low fluid level, as thats the easiest to check. If thats not the case I would take the advise of other posts by checking the jacks when the alarm sounds. You may also want to make notice does the alarm stop when the coach stops, The more info you can provide the more help you will receive from the great folks here.

Welcome to the club and just an added note. Please put your coach information in the signature block. This will help folks better help you along the way.

Something that nobody has mentioned is stretched retraction springs. The springs are the only thing that retracts the jacks. If they weaken, the jacks do not retract completely or may drop slightly on bumpy roads.

The main culprit is low fluid level in the tank. Next is not following retract instructions exactly.
Do not manually turn off the hyd, jacks retract function, either allow it to time-out, or wait a few minutes after the stored light illuminates if you choose to manually push the off button. Otherwise, as daytime temps rise, so does the fluid in the jacks, and pushes the jack off the stored switch.

I had an old Damon 01 Challenger with sticky (read STUCK, at one point) HWHs and I couldn't pry it up even with the hose detached at the at the valve. So onward we went, and I unplugged the wire to that jack to relieve the beep. In that case, anyway each jack has a sensor.

I have not read all the responses but two thoughts. First fluid level. But more importantly I’ve added “jack up” to my walk around before departure.

I recently Had a broken jack spring. That jack was not up. So now I confirm that all 4 are up before I drive. Kind of a pilot thing. Check list check list check list. :)

It also depends on the brand of the jacks. Bigfoot levelers have limit switches that sense when the jacks are up, so the system is not affected by the fluid level. They're also raised hydraulically, so no problematic springs.

I’ve had this same issue when I first purchased my coach. Topping off the fluid level to the full mark when jacks are fully retracted solved the beeping problem. I have a 2012 Winnebago Adventurer 37F. Access to the hydraulic fluid reservoir was behind a panel in the compartment directly behind the front left wheel (driver side).

We found all the other fixes mentioned here to not affect the beeping. It was a bad sensor device. It's located under the steering column on our Class C. (Black plastic cube shape.) Have that replaced if the other fixes don't work.

It often gets back to one of the biggest problems when we try to train techs for most any item. First step ALWAYS needs to be figuring out what equipment we have and then define the problem.
This post has never gotten down to the basics of what jacks they have, so all the rest was pretty much left as wasting time!

Hi, we have a 2012 Winnebago Sightseer, and we had problems with the jack system much as you have. After replacing the sensor, filling the fluid reservoir after checking for leaks, it came down to weak springs on our rear jacks. They were not retracting high enough. New springs, no more problems.

Each jack has a sensor on it, too. One of those could be misreading and needing to be replaced.
Or the control panel itself could be malfunctioning.
Or, given the age of your rig, the leveling system computer itself might need some updating.
These were some of the issues our system had. It's all (thankfully and knock on wood!) fixed now.

My Forza was doing that, driving down the road would get that buzzer going. It needed hydraulic fluid. Once I refill that solved the problem. Unit Class A Forza
