I just bought a 2024 2225RL and am very interested in adding an inverter and Lithium battery. Does anyone happen to have the wiring diagram from Winnebago? Where can I find this loom that I can wire the inverter into? I would love to hear an update to this system and see what you would do differently after all this time

The LifPo battery is great. Gives you lots more usable AH. Installing an inverter is another issue. Inverters are notorious for sapping battery power. Even if you are going to be doing a lot of Boondocking the option to use an EcoFlow power station instead of an inverter something to consider. I travel 6 months a year and never use the inverter. I have solar and Eco Flow and even after 93 days of off grind have never had an issue. If you are just buying the LifPo option is smart, but I would take some time to determine if the inverter is really the best option
 
You will find a lot of hassle in switching it out (like adding a DC-DC converter). I've decided on a hybrid approach. I kept my AGM batteries and have added a portable Power station. It also has the added benefit of being usable at home when I'm not using the RV. There are several brands and a range of capacities. I chose 1kwh with a built in 1.8kw inverter. I charge it with solar (up to 500 W). If my goal was to run the A/C using it (a little), I would have gotten something with 2kwh, but they are heavier too. Power stations used to be quite expensive, but they dropped quite a bit in price.
 
Contact Winnebago and they will gladly sending you a wiring diagram for your camper. Converted to lithium with battery and inverter a couple years ago with my 2022 Micro Mini 2225RL. Have been very happy with the setup and no longer have power issues with the slide, power jack, etc. Also recommend Battle Born. Expensive but outstanding product and the support and assistance from Battle Born couldn't be better.

Battle Born appears to be abandoning the DTC RV market and concentrating on OTR Trucking and potentially licensing some intellectual property. The batteries they have marketed to RV owners have some serious design flaws that impact reliability and potentially safety. Google if you are interested. If I wanted to spend on a top quality battery with outstanding safety, I would look at EPOCH. On a budget, probably LiTime, Wattcycle, etc. There are plenty of cheaper batteries, but service might be a problem.

Hey Marty, long time no hear, Brian the electrician here, hope you're doing OK. Which power station did you buy? Is it for your Via? I recently upgraded our Via to a 330ah Li and installed a 2500 watt inverter to run the microwave and some fans when we camp on the beach without hookups. I am now using my old 100ah Li to build a power station with a 1,000 watt inverter.

I went a similar path, installing a power station. I did install a LifePo4 battery in place of the FLA golf cart batteries I had for 12V, and a 12V Victron charger vs the stock converter. Keeping the original 12V system intact (the hybrid approach) seems to be the trend.
 
As said, Winnebego will provide you with a wire diagram for your rig, but be aware, they are more engineering schematics than actual drawing of where wires are run. I had them send me the drawing before I converted to 400ah of lithium and added 600 more watts of panels for a total of 800 watts. They helped a little but not much. Check your owner's manual or storage compartments for anything labeled "Inverter prepped." Be aware that even if it's labeled for inverter prep, doesn't mean the whole rig will receive inverter power. For my 2025 2018TB, the inverter prep was a loop of romex that went from the breaker panel to the place prepped for the inverter (the front pass through) and back to power all outlets marked GFCI. Nothing else in the trailer was wired to that circuit. Since we wanted the microwave to be inverter powered, so I had to do some additional rerouting of the microwave circuit. It wasn't really that difficult, but I've done a similar system in a previous rig and have a good working knowledge of electrical circuits both high and low voltage.

If your rig isn't prepped for an inverter from the factory, you'll need to find a way of running 120v circuit from the panel to the inverter and back and you'll need a transfer switch too or an inverter with one built in..
