Hello everyone!
I recently purchased a 2021TB Winnie Minnie TT and quickly realized having a backup camera is needed LOL. I can order a camera from GMC accessories, but the instructions require centering it on the back/rear exterior wall from side to side and top to bottom, and drilling through the trailer to insert 2 bolts/nuts to secure the camera. This set up supposedly will integrate seamlessly into my existing system, but I'm reluctant to start poking holes in this thing without doing a bit of research, and am hoping someone may have some ideas? I wouldn't guess there's anything electrical or plumbing related back there, and if I ensure I seal it up it should be ok, but perhaps there's other alternatives? Thanks in advance. We're looking forward to hitting the road later this spring.

You can get the blueprints from Winnebago. Includes all wiring/plumbing etc.

Apologies..a Micro Minnie is the correct model.
I have installed the integrated GM camera on the rear of my 2529R. I did not drill all the way through the trailer - the camera isn't very heavy - and the power cable is mounted on the exterior of the trailer and travels underneath along the frame to the front for connection to the truck when towing. It comes with heavy cable wrap, so it can take that under trailer placement. I have it secured with zip ties following the frame. We carry our bikes on the back of the trailer, so I couldn't mount the camera at the recommended placement for the "transparent" feature to work since the bikes would be obstructing the camera. It's great to have the rear facing view on the infotainment screen in the truck.

To install the camera, which was your question, I put it in the center, about 3/4 of the height of the trailer, knowing the kitchen is on the other side and I could predict where wires might be so I could avoid them. I don't recall exactly, but I believe I used 1" stainless screws with exterior grade caulk (which includes some adhesive qualities) at the screw openings and the camera mount back plate. These screws do not penetrate into the kitchen interior. The camera has never moved. The camera comes with adhesive cable mounts, and I made sure to use those generously on the back of the trailer so the weight of the cord wouldn't be tugging on the camera.

Hope this helps. I'm not at the trailer now or I would have included pictures.
