We are experiencing an issue with our 2026 Winnebago Vista 30 NPF where the ignition signal connected to the screen that operates the awning, electric front sunshade, and steps is showing “ignition on” when it is actually off.
Has anyone experienced this issue before with a 2026 Winnebago Vista 30? The ignition signal connected to the screen that operates the awning, electric front sunshade, and steps is showing “ignition on” when it is actually off. Any thoughts?

I don’t own a motorhome with the exact same system as your Vista but with my 2026 View’s “computer” system called Winnebago Connect sometimes does similar things and I need to reboot everything. The View has a chassis disconnect, an inverter rotary disconnect and a coach battery disconnect switch in the stairwell. To reboot I turn all three disconnects off wait 30 seconds and turn things on one by one.

This reboots the Connect system and 9 times out of 10 gets rid of oddities.

I’d guess your 2026 Vista has similar ways to reboot the system. Have you tried this?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have checked that. We replaced the chassis battery since it did not pass the test, and I expected that would resolve the issue, but the problem is still present.
What’s unusual is that after running the RV, the ignition status warning goes away; however, it returns again as soon as the ignition switch is turned on afterward.
