An RVer needs to identify a Winnebago Class C labeled WF29B to order parts. The motorhome has dining-area and bedroom slides and was described as a 1998, but the question also mentions 2018, leaving the year unclear. The previous owner called it a Minnie Winnie, while members reported finding no 1998 29B in the information they searched.

Multiple members recommended checking the identification label near the driver’s seat for the complete model information. One member suggested...

We bought a 1998 Class C Winnebago motorhome with two slides: dining and bed areas. The cerfitification label says it's a WF29B. The VIN only shows that it's built on a Ford chassis. I can't find anywhere on the web that allows me to input a serial number to discern the model. The previous owner thought it was a minnie winnie, but I can't find anywhere on the web that agrees a 2018 MW would have two slides. We need to order parts, but can't figure this out. Help!

I did a bunch of searching for 1998 Minnie Winnie, or a Minnie, which was another model name, and for 1998, 1999, and even 2000 and I can find no 29B. It could also be an Itasca model which was a sub brand for Winnebago.

On the wall next to the driver’s seat should be a yellow placard (sticker) that has all your model info.

Take a look there. It’s required by law.

Should be a label near the driver's left side with all kinds of details to I d the RV.
That label is described in the owners manual. But to get the correct manual, you need to know which RV!
So a different way to go is looking at some of the online info, like the parts catalog!
A bit tendious as one has to scan the lists to find your model number, but it should work. One problem is the info you have is not a full model number, so a bit of Easter Egg hunt to find it?Another problem that "might" be hurting is that folks often confuse the year! The chassis that we get a license for is sometimes a year earlier than the year of the RV that is built on top! That likely means you really do need to check that label to find the ture facts of what you have.
But when I reread your post, there seems to be a MAJOR problem as you mention both 1998 as well as 2018???
But those are no big help, so take a look at two items on the label as they are what you need as a basic ID of the RV. Nothing involved with chassis is important except for license and ordering parts for the chassis that the RV is built on!

Find numbers 3 and 13 and then sort the wiring or parts sections for that ID. Check the year and model as those do not seem corrrect. One problem is the lack of a full model number as 29B is not complete!

The devil is often in getting the details correct! If we need to buy parts and ask for something like a chassis part, we need to know what chassis we have, not what RV year or model as that changes way too often.
In ths case, you can certainly have a 2004 29B and Winnebago does provide info for it. But if one looks in the same list for the 1998 29B, there is none!

The real problem is the op will need to know what is wrong witht he info he had and that can often be sorted by checking the label. There is a good chance he may be confusing the chassis model year with the year the RV was finally built on top. Since folks have to give the motor vehical folks the year, it is not uncommon for them to confuse that year with the model year Winnwbago uses.
And that confusion can get ugly if we order parts for the wrong RV or chassis year and they can be different!
But we can't assume that what was done in 98 is the same as done in 2004! Just time moves on!

Call Lichtsenn Motors and ask them. They specialize in Winnebago products.

Well he said he bought a 1998 and then says he can't find a 2018 MW with 2 slides. My 2004 has one. Also, Mohrich put up 2004 numbers that don't match my unit. I have a Minnie Winnie, decals still on the overhang, and it is a 431C. 4 is the trim level, 4 is highest. 31 is the length, and C is the floorplan.
Perhaps he just cut off that part of the list....my apologies if so. I have looked at that list before.

Step one may be finding what year as they have mentioned 1998 as well as 2018?? Way tooo much space for starting a search on that info!
About all we can really say is something is wrong in that 20 year span?
