Hi
So I recently rescued my father's 2006 Winnebago adventurer 35a. Everything's in pretty good shape it was winterized for 2 years without being opened.
Right now I'm doing some basic troubleshooting just to figure out the sides and the leveling jacks.
Just looking for some thoughts on where to start looking or what can be done to figure out where the exact problem is. And or maybe some questions I'm not thinking about.
Here's the scenario
- The kitchen side opens slowly and slightly crooked but straightens out when it's fully extended. It also closes and almost tight with a little manual tug on one side.
- bedroom goes out slowly but will not come back in.
- the big living room moves about an inch in and out but nothing more than that.
The leveling jacks won't go down at all.
I do have three batteries all pushing 14 ish , and I've tried it with the engine running and without and even boosting from the SUV.
The whole system sounds like it's trying to push hydraulic fluid around. There is hydraulic fluid in the reservoir tank to correct level but it never seems to change level to me? This is the tank/pump that's underneath in the engine bay.
Obviously some of it's getting through otherwise nothing would open or close.
The interesting part is the solenoids are behind the living room side out... I'm not sure how to get there to look or even take one apart if that living room doesn't extend? See picture.
Theere is a hydraulic pump/reservoir and what looks like maybe a solenoid underneath in the engine bay.
I guess I'm just looking for some guidance on where to start looking for what the issues are and what people's thoughts might be?
I am very mechanically inclined but the system is new to me and I've spent a few hours exploring it and just frustrated.
I'm sure this will generate some questions so ask away? I appreciate all the guidance and help.
