How to Remove the Fireplace Forza 34T

Does anyone know how to remove the electric fireplace in the 34T Forza. Our unit display blinks one quickly when I try to turn on. It was intermittent for a while, so I want to see what's inside. I am thinking I have to pull the trim, but want to see if anyone has experience with this.

Yep, carefully pull the wood trim, just held by a few nails and then can unscrew the fireplace from the frame

Before you take apart the fireplace - are you describing that when you push the on / off switch that it blinks on but doesn't stay on? If yes - it could be the switch itself (not a particularly well-built module). I used a can of compressed air on my switches while slowly pressing the switch dead center and then just on each of the four edges (square switch). It corrected the problem. Later - the reflectors for the 'flame' dislocated - dismantled the fireplace and rehung the reflectors. Used just about all my patience to get that done.
