Radio & backup camera suddenly went dark..There may be a problem with either the wiring connections or fuses for the OEM radio in the dash.
Can someone tell me how to take the plastic dash cover off in order to get to the radio mounts?
It's the original radio in the cab of our 2016 Itasca Navion on the dually Sprinter chassis.
thanks,
Scotty

Thank you! It's exactly the information I needed.
Thought I'd post an update. Before removing the radio, it was decided to check the main front dash radio fuse one more time - the radio fuse lives in the mega-Mercedes fuseholder down by the driver's left foot.
We even double-checked the manual to make it was the right fuse. Fuse looked good, and checked correct with the VOM.

Whoops! Dropped that little sucker when trying to put the fuse back in...& of course it promptly fell into Never-Ever Land somewhere beneath the floormat. Got out a spare....10 amp...check.... ohns correct....check....installed the replacement fuse.
AND THE RADIO PLUS BU CAMERA SUDDENLY CAME TO LIFE!
Sometimes it's better to be lucky than smart.

Luck is a wonderfull thing but before going too far out on a limb, think what may also be involved?
So you did some good tests and it shows th fuse was with power going through the little test points, I assume?
But one of the big things I find about RV is how often we get corrosion in places it seems would not happen!
So just as way to explain why a good fuse that you lost may nothave been working, even though it tested as passing power? Not something we can ever know but one way that might happen is when the fuse makes contact on the point where power comes in but not on the side where it goes out and you can't test as it is hidden down under the fuse!
Being paranoid when testing is a good thing!
