Yes, I feel for you! WE all get caught in things that seem so simple. I just spent some time trying to figure out how much of a medicine to take for a headache!
I finally found I had tyo peel the label to access that info.
I'm not sure the med helped or finding the info made it worse!
Ignoring all that, I did some looking on the owners manuals and the parts listing andneither seem to help. If you have a big bag of info, there may be a chassis manual from that builder?
But I also doubt the right info it there because the folks who build the chassis are selling it stripped and THEN the top isput on. I'm surprised if that helps but may be better than my next best shot!
Winnebago often have a couple latches, one on either side of the moving hood part. My move for finding them is to cup my fingers as if lifting the normal car hood and run them left/right all along the edge unitl I may find a latch.
That latch is often a simple "handle" hanging down which moves a lever to unlatch.
Since the hood material is likely fiberglass and somewhat flexible, it can work to graps the edge and tug to see what spot moves less as it is that point which is latched?
It should be in the book as we might want to check little things like oil???
Sorry. I feel for you !
