Hi - We are Brenda & David from Loveland, OH. We just bought a 2014 Vista 35F. This is our first motorhome and 2nd camper as we had a 33' Open Range travel trailer before this. We bought it in Maryland and drove it home on Friday. We are happy so far with the purchase and getting it ready for the road to get away from this cold weather. We get a lot of value from these forums and hope to contribute as we learn stuff.

Cheers!

David

Greetings David & Brenda,
Any motorhome with 1½ baths can be considered a big rig. It will be a comfortable winter home for you, once you get to your southern destination. It has been so rainy here, I'm ready to head south too, but family obligations preclude that. Sounds like you are getting ready to start living the dream. Have fun and safe journeys.
Here is the online brochure and Owner's Manual.
Welcome to the forum.

I think you will enjoy the RV, but like most things, there are new things to learn!
One difference in the motorized is watching two sets of batteries and not trusting things until you find a few quirks that are often left out!

One skipped item is often that the battery cutoff switches DON'T cutoff ALL the drains on batteries! Those small items like steps and safety items can certainly sneak up on us and kill the batteries while stored if we are not staying alert!

This can be a great site to look around and find where and what you have? Things like where are the drains can get lots of use during the cold months!

Enjoy, but stay nervous for a while??
