Hello from Texas. Purchasing a 2024 Micro Minnie?

Hello everyone,
My husband and I are looking into purchasing a 2024 Micro Minnie. Right now we are liking the 2108DS.
Honestly, we rather have a trailer with no slides. We had a bad experience with the schwintek slide system in our current trailer.
My question to all of you is whether or not you have had issues with the slides in the Winnebago.
I contacted Winnebago and they told me that starting in January of this year they moved to the slim rack system.
What are your opinions? We appreciate your input.

Our Schwintech is relatively new and hasn't had any problems YET; we won't be surprised when it does. Most trailer components barely satisfy minimum use requirements and slide-outs are known to have problems. (I wouldn't have a slide in our trailer, but I got out-voted.)

When we end up with a trailer we plan to keep awhile, we will have the Vroom slide installed. They now have seveal installation points and one of them is in Texas.
