Today the adventure starts. We're picking up (or rather the tow truck operator is picking up) a 1987 Itasca Sunflyer (27RU). We're fixer-uppers so this will be an adventure we're looking forward to. The plan is to completely remove the interior from the dash to the rear window and then replace/remodel whatever needs refreshing. Our time frame is about 12 months so we're in no hurry. Thanks for having this site and I'll be looking for a lot of help as we learn along the way. This is our first RV so I'm sure, once we're drivable, I'll be looking for additional tips and hints about life on the road. Cheers.
