Hello from Minnesota

Hello Winnebago lovers. We are Klaas and Eileen from Minnesota and own a 2005 Vectra since 2015. So far we just made short trips in Minnesota and to neighboring states but recently we went to Washington DC and back that took 5 weeks, our longest trip.

We both love the simplified living experience and relaxing environment while traveling. Although we had some issues on the RV, they were all fixed by us on the spot. (Dead house batteries and clogged ice maker drain)

Hoping to go on the road in the spring again but first get thru the winter, way easier when you retired, in case of a bad snowstorm we just stay home.

I accidentally found this forum when I was looking for a better info center for the engine. (ScanGauge D from Linear Logic)

Hey from another Minnesooootan. We're just south of you. Last time we were in Woodbury we parked a Cabala's and DW went to Portillo's and got Chicago Beef Sandwiches. Absolutely love them.

You made the right choice to eat some Portillo's delicious food, it opened July this year.

DW has family in Chicago and we visit usually every year at least once. Within an hour of arriving we are at a Portillo's. Always the Chicago Beef wet with hot peppers. Someday may even try their ribs or dogs.

Nah, the beefs too good.
