Agree with there being no specific mileage that I know of for redo.
I kind of look at how the vehicle has been used and do some small checking for leaking oil on the tires. The packing on the bearings has seals to hold the grease in, If the vehicle has a lot of use in sand, etc. that seal can begin to ooze and it gets thrown out on the inner part of the tires. So if you peek in and the tire is getting a large black grease streak, it may be time!
Newer cars, I don't worry too much as the grease tends to be less trouble than the brake part and if they take it all down for a brake job and pull the hubs, the bearings get repacked then and we hope for new seals at the same time to hold that new grease in!
Grease is not likely the brakes parts and letting it set while stored is not prone to getting water in. Things like brake cylinders that have brake fluid is way different and needs more watching/thinking as brake fluid does draw moisture into the fluid. Hygroscopic seems like the name??
But that water in the brake fluid can create rust on the cylinders and that scores them when we start to use the RV again!
I worry the brake parts and not much thought on the bearings as they kind of get taken care of with the brakes and before they go too far.
